I had the privilege of seeing Guano Apes last night (Nov. 18. 1999) at the Cotton
Club in Atlanta. The show was incredible! I first heard Guano Apes last winter when
I was skiing in Austria, and I bought the CD and have been waiting for a chance to
see the band live ever since. I feel very lucky that I got to see the show in a small
club, because once Americans find out about this great band they will be playing
in much larger venues.Even though most of the people at the show had never heard
Guano Apes, I think they are all fans now after seeing the awesome show that Sandra
and the boys put on. The songs sound great live, and I don't know where Sandra gets
so much energy from! Great performance!!!
After the show I had a chance to chat a little with Sandra and Dennis, who were both
very nice. Thanks for letting me take the pictures. I wish I had taken more photos
during the show, but the ones that I got are pretty good. I hope you enjoy them.
