| Initially
scheduled for release in summer 2002 it took us another six month
to finish the production of our third album "Walking
on a thin line" and release it in February 2003.
So that's almost three years again since the last album.

There have been various reason "why it took so long" - we
have been extensively touring europe in the first year after the release
of "Don't give me names" and returned to
"rehearsal and songwriting mode"in October 2001 after finishing
the festival season and having a 5 1/2 month break from each other.
We worked on about 20 Demos and Layouts for the new album and in the
end 14
of those made it on the final record (at least on the limited
edition!).
We started the studio recording sessions in Hannover/Germany
and pretty soon decided to move out to rural Celle/Germany
for the rest of the recordings.
 Friedel
cut a short video trailer from when he visited us
at Area51 Studios in Celle.

here to watch it ...
And
here's another litte video report with Henning from
the first session at
Horus Studios in Hannover ...
Having
almost finished all the recordings and shortly before the Gig at Ringfest
in Cologne we took off to Bavaria Film Studios in Munich for a weird
photo-session with our even weirder photographer Dirk Schelpmeier.
You can find some of those pictures in the album booklet, some more
of those are featured in the "Restricted Area"
on this site.

You
can log in to this Area via the Multimedia Part on
the limited "Walking on a thin line" edition. Just put the
CD in your computer, start Multimediapart, click on our
Logo and you will find even more information about this
album!
In May
2002 we took a break from album production, |
see Timetable |
heading out for a few shows in Portugal and Russia. It felt great
to relax from recording and be
playing live again!
We spend
August and September in Cologne and Hamburg
for final Overdubs and Mixdown of
the album.

Some journalists were invited for a first listening session in september
and we were very excited about the positive feedback
to the 5 tracks we played them. You will find those reviews and stories
in various music-magazines in the next months.
Friedel,
our designer, created so many different brainstorming ideas
for an artwork ,we even had problems agreeing on one! He also came
up with the fabolous idea for the linen bound artwork,
making the album look like a book. We wanted to provide the fans even
more "value for money".
There
have also been lots of talks about Copy Protection.
Common practice in BMG is to put copy protection on every new product.
We've managed to release a non-copy protected limited edition
especially for
you! As we do believe that burning CD's has something to do with a
lack of respect for the artist, we really do hope you we'll
receive the same respect that we have for our honest fans!
