Video Premier Today and First Single on Sept. 21st, 2007!

The long wait is almost over: On September 21st, 2007, following three years of intensive work on solo material, Sandra Nasic is back with her highly-anticipated debut single "Fever".
The new video for the song premiers today on AOL.de Premiere – and MTV will be showing the video for the first time in its full length starting at 11 p.m. German time on the show "brand:neu" before putting it into Powerplay rotation this coming Saturday.

And Pro 7 likes the new single so much that they’ve picked Sandra’s “Fever” as the current trailer music for their “Fight Night” (featuring the boxing match on Sept. 7th between WBA Flyweight Champ Susi Kentikian defending her title against England’s Shanee Martin).

Sandra’s First Solo Video For Free Download Starting Tonight!

The new “The Name Of My Baby” video from Sandra Nasic has been on www.myspace.com/sandranasic for about a week now, and this week we continue uninterrupted right here at www.sandranasic.de.

Sandra has now gone solo and is presenting her first solo video for you, “The Name Of My Baby”, starting tonight as a free download.

The single, “Fever”, also containing “The Name Of My Baby”, is released on September 14th as a double A-side featuring “Fever”/ “The Name Of My Baby”.

LOST (T)APES

For all of you, it’s definitely the final chapter; for us, it’s a new beginning in different constellations – We’ve dug around in our archive and dusted off a few original tracks to show you in hindsight how some of our songs developed.

What you can hear on this last CD "Lost (T)apes" of ours is the humble beginnings of Guano Apes. These are recordings done in 1994 and 1995, featuring some of the songs that made it onto our albums later on.

Almost all of it was recorded by Fabio Trentini in the 'Nest' youth center on a 4-track multi-track cassette recorder and a portable DAT recorder! We met Fabio back then through the local youth social worker, Wilfried Dittmar. Fabio offered to record a couple of songs with us, and we loved the idea of finally having a chance to record our music and sell it as demos at gigs.

The first recordings are now around 12 years old, and you’re sure to rediscover lots of what made up the Guano Apes sound later on. For us, listening to some of this stuff was like hearing the songs for the first time again. Stude evens swears that he’s never, ever heard one of the songs on this album, much less played on it himself...
Memory really is a funny thing... ;-)

Hi everbody!

At first, we would like to say thank you you for a marvelous farewell tour! It was a fantastic feeling to rock the clubs once more together with you! This has all still not sunk into our minds enough as if I could write a summary right now, ... perhaps you can help us? by putting down your impressions, feelings and travel/concert reports and mail them to us?!

Anyway, we have not been lazy... Dennis is promoting the record of his new band 'Tamoto', Sandra continues to work in Berlin on Songs for her solo album and I'm also in the train, returning from Berlin where the press conference of the f6-Awards was held, which will soon start again and in which I will be in the jury and working in the coaching team again.

As it was already posted several times here in the guest book, I cooperate also in a project with our photographer Dirk Schelpmeier. From this some beautiful Singer/Songwriter Songs emerged, with two guitars, two voices and partly melancholic, partly eye-twinkling German lyrics! You can also check the Web on www.schelpmeier.com!
